Bug#945161: accountwizard: Broken dependencies (KLineEdit)

2019-11-20 Thread Johan Thelin
Package: accountwizard
Version: 4:18.08.3-3
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

The accountwizard tries to instantiate widgets that are not installed when I
try to setup a Kolab client, so this seems to be a dependency issue. The output
from the program is:

$ accountwizard
org.kde.knewstuff.core: Using a deprecated location for the knsrc file
"accountwizard.knsrc" - please contact the author of the software which
provides th
"QFormBuilder was unable to create a widget of the class 'KLineEdit'."
"Empty widget item in QFormLayout 'formLayout'."
"QFormBuilder was unable to create a widget of the class 'KLineEdit'."

"QFormBuilder was unable to create a custom widget of the class
'KPasswordLineEdit'; defaulting to base class 'QWidget'."
Kross: "Error error=TypeError: Result of expression 'page.widget().nameEdit'

This means that I cannot enter the name, nor the password, due to the widgets
not being properly instantiated.

Bug#792321: Segfaults on session start

2016-01-13 Thread Johan Thelin
I experienced the same issue now and removed .local/share/kscreen. I
diffed the old and new versions and got the following:

As you can see, the position of the screen has somehow been messed up
when I unplugged my external screen, resulting in a blank screen when
entering a new session (after a reboot).

Best regards,

Johan Thelin

Bug#732399: base: /etc/default/grub refers to vbeinfo, which now is called videoinfo

2013-12-17 Thread Johan Thelin
Package: base
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

When updating the /etc/default/grub file, following the instructions to install
plymouth [1], the comments in the configuration file said to run vbeinfo to
determine the video modes supported by my graphics card. Entering grub, the
command to use was called videoinfo.

Best regards,

Johan
