Bug#884962: gnome-calendar: Cannot Sync without gnome-control-center
Package: gnome-calendar Version: 3.22.4-2 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer, I use a very modest computer. I run very minimal openbox desktop. I noticed I could not sync my other accounts with out installing gnome- control-center. I think this should be listed as a recomended/suggested package. In the future, I would like to see some of the functionality be directly part of this package, as I do not need nor want gnome-control-center, which was over 100MBs to download (With all the dependancies). -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.3 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages gnome-calendar depends on: ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.26.0-2+b1 ii gsettings-desktop-schemas3.22.0-1 ii libatk1.0-0 2.22.0-1 ii libc62.24-11+deb9u1 ii libcairo-gobject21.14.8-1 ii libcairo21.14.8-1 ii libecal-1.2-19 3.22.7-1 ii libedataserver-1.2-223.22.7-1 ii libedataserverui-1.2-1 3.22.7-1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.36.5-2+deb9u1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.50.3-2 ii libgoa-1.0-0b3.22.5-1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.22.11-1 ii libical2 2.0.0-0.5+b1 ii libicu57 57.1-6+deb9u1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.40.5-1 ii libpangocairo-1.0-0 1.40.5-1 ii libsecret-1-00.18.5-3.1 ii libsoup2.4-1 2.56.0-2+deb9u1 ii libxml2 2.9.4+dfsg1-2.2+deb9u1 Versions of packages gnome-calendar recommends: ii evolution-data-server 3.22.7-1 gnome-calendar suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
