Hi! I installed GDM3 3.20.1-1 and now has code to solve this problem, but, in new code, I suspect that has a failure, because the logic in the line 331 should be inverse of original code in 336: daemon/gdm-server.c:331:if (!server->priv->disable_tcp && ! query_in_arglist) { daemon/gdm-server.c:336:if (server->priv->disable_tcp && ! query_in_arglist) { I suggest change 331 to: if (!server->priv->disable_tcp || query_in_arglist) { Best regards, Junior Polegato

Hi! Oh dear, that doesn't sound good :( I noticed that this happened when the user holds and doesn't move the mouse, like a long click. Whatever, if he clicks, holds and moves the mouse, this doesn't happen. I'm afraid I can't reproduce the problem here. I'm going to ask some questions that will hopefully help us work out what is happening. Is there a particular sequence of events that you need to trigger the problem, or is it every time you hold the mouse button down? No particular sequence of events, any time I hold the mouse button down for some seconds, the program closes. You mentioned that you have upgraded some machines. Are you able to reproduce the problem on different machines? Yes, even I installed from zero two formated machines and get the same problem. It's possible that there are some library incompatibilities caused by the gcc 5 transition. Could you check if all packages are at their newest version from unstable? Yes, all packages are at their newest version, but from testing. If you can easily reproduce the problem, could you try to get a stack trace for us? - # Install debug symbols. These are quite big, so if you don't have enough bandwidth or disk space, skip this step for now apt-get install --no-install-recommends libreoffice-dbg # We need gdb installed to generate the backtrace apt-get install gdb # Start libreoffice using '--backtrace' loffice --backtrace # Make it crash! # Then send the file gdbtrace.log, which will be in your current working directory where you started libreoffice from - I did this and attached in this message goes this log file. Bug#742226: Back to 3 dotted components
Hi! I downloaded the Debian's kernel with "apt-get source linux", using testing target, replace 3.13 by 3.13.1 and brasilians' banks sites worked fine now. Can you back to put 3 dotted components in kernel version, please? Thanks, Junior Polegato -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#710465: python-gobject-2: super(class, obj) does not more work after update from 2.28.6-10 to 2.28.6-12
Package: python-gobject-2 Version: 2.28.6-12 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? My custom widget Editor from gtk.Entry does not more work with super(class, obj) in method do_key_press_event * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? In this minimal example bellow, the line 10 is the problem: import gtk class Editor(gtk.Entry, gtk.Buildable): __gtype_name__ = 'Editor' __gsignals__ = { "key-press-event": "override", } def __init__(self, *args, **kargs): super(Editor, self).__init__(*args, **kargs) def do_key_press_event(self, event): super(Editor, self).do_key_press_event(event) w = gtk.Window() w.connect('delete-event', gtk.main_quit) e = Editor() w.add(e) w.show_all() gtk.main() In this case I get this error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "teste.py", line 10, in do_key_press_event super(Editor, self).do_key_press_event(event) TypeError: Gtk.Widget.key_press_event() argument 1 must be gtk.Widget, not gtk.gdk.Event Then I put "self" explicitly and I get a infinity loop: Traceback (most recent call last): File "teste.py", line 10, in do_key_press_event super(Editor, self).do_key_press_event(self, event) RuntimeError: maximum recursion depth exceeded while calling a Python object But if I replace "super" by "gtk.Entry", this example works fine, like was in 2.28.6-10. Now do I need to use static method class call instead "super"? Bug#646686: xserver-xephyr: Xephyr doesn't work with evdev input drivers
Package: xserver-xephyr Version: 2:1.11.1.901-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, I use Xephyr and GDM2 to make multi seat terminal with one machine. If I use Xephyr with evdev driver, I get "Couldn't find pointer driver evdev". So, I compiled the package xorg-xserver adding on debian/rules "--enable-kdrive-evdev" and then Xephyr works perfectly. Is it possible add this option for users who work with multi seat terminal? Cause I think this isn't bad for other users and I don't have to compile for each new version.
