on existing setups you can use following Xsession script, if
x2goserver-xsession is installed:

cat <<'EOF'>/etc/x2go/Xsession.d/57xfce4-session_bug_1008602_workaround
BASESTARTUP=$(basename "$STARTUP" | cut -d\  -f1)
if [ "$BASESTARTUP" = x-session-manager ]; then
BASESTARTUP=$(basename $(readlink /etc/alternatives/x-session-manager))
fi
case "$BASESTARTUP" in
  xfce4-session|startxfce4)
/usr/bin/xfconf-query -c xfwm4 -p /general/use_compositing -s false
;;
esac
EOF

But, like Mike wrote it's just a workaround, the prefferable solution is
to patch xfwm4 to use librda, because so users can use compositing if
it's possible.

Check_mk adopts a new a approach for collecting data from operating systems
and network components. It obsoletes NRPE, check_by_ssh, NSClient and
check_snmp. It has many benefits, the most important of which are:
  * Significant reduction of CPU usage on the monitoring host.
  * Automatic inventory of items to be checked on hosts.

Using this package for a long time and was packaging it just for me.
It would be nice to have it in debian, without configuring extra
repository. It would be nice to have check-mk-agent-team on salsa, where
we can maintain it. On MDC in Regensburg I hear that a lot of people
using it and I have found a sponsor.
Co-maintainers are always welcome. Maybe later it would be nice to
package more check-mk-agent plugins from check-mk exchange.

Bug#985303: fai-client: fcopy -DSBHir -M / fails with exitcode 2 on tree with symlinks which applies only on target system after installation

Package: fai-client

Dear Thomas,

how described in subject on trying to do fcopy -DSBHir -M / with
really small config:

shell.log:
=   shell: SCRIPTS_DEBIAN/10-fcopy   =
+ error=0
+ trap 'error=$(($?>$error?$?:$error))' ERR
+ set -vx
fcopy -DSBHir -M /
:
:
using class: FILES_SYSTEMD_X11VNC_ENABLED
Enable substitution. Copying
/var/lib/fai/config/files/etc/systemd/system/graphical.target.wants/x11vnc.service/FILES_SYSTEMD_X11VNC_ENABLED
to /tmp/fcopy.jOGZOd at /usr/sbin/fcopy line 147.
fcopy: can't open
/var/lib/fai/config/files/etc/systemd/system/graphical.target.wants/x11vnc.service/FILES_SYSTEMD_X11VNC_ENABLED
error=$(($?>$error?$?:$error))
++ error=2

exit $error
+ exit 2
SCRIPTS_DEBIAN/10-fcopy FAILED with exit code 2.

It would be nice, if fcopy would just give you a warning and continue if file
is symlink to not existing file, before doing substitution.

As workaround I'm using now second fcopy job with only substitution
on given files and first fcopy without substitution:

fcopy -DBHir -M /
fcopy -DSBHir -M /etc/apt/

Bug#859653: ntopng: Segmentation fault with mysql

2017-05-07 Thread Juri Grabowski
Hello,

it looks good.

I have build a debian package with

apt-get source ntopng
cd ntopng-2.4+dfsg1
cp 000*.patch ../debian/patches/
dpkg-buildpackage -uc -us

and installed it with
dpkg -i ../*.deb ; apt-get -f install

Is it possible to get the patched version for debian stretch in debian
depot?

Best regards,
Juri Grabowski

Bug#606055: wheezy workaround

2013-06-04 Thread Juri Grabowski
I have the same problem in Debian Wheezy debian-installer.
I was booting from PXE.
As workaround:

#Change the console
Alt + ->

#find out PID from udpkg
ps |grep udpkg|cut -d\  -f1

#kill this
kill $PID

#find out PID from network-preseed
ps |grep network-preseed

#kill it
kill $PID

#Continue your Installation
