I cannot start any of my Debian VMs, since an upgrade of the host Debian's
kernel (or qemu-kvm) several weeks ago. I'm seeing the same problem as
reported to Ubuntu: Bug #531823
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/531823 I see kernel oops:
