Bug#810313: procps: On update, dpkg fails with an error code (1)

2016-01-08 Thread LESOUEF Emmanuel
Package: procps
Version: 2:3.3.11-3
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?
On update of my laptop, then configuration process of procps fails with an
error code.
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
 ineffective)?
apt-get dist-upgrade
   * What was the outcome of this action?
Dpkg fails with the following error message :
"Job for systemd-sysctl.service failed because the control process exited with
error code. See "systemctl status systemd-sysctl.service" and "journalctl -xe"
for details."
Executing journalctl as root displays among other things :
-- L'unité (unit) systemd-sysctl.service a commencé à démarrer.
janv. 08 09:27:21 nienor systemd-sysctl[5089]: Couldn't write '2' to
'kernel/dmesg_restrict', ignoring: Invalid argument
janv. 08 09:27:21 nienor systemd[1]: systemd-sysctl.service: Main process
exited, code=exited, status=1/FAILURE
janv. 08 09:27:21 nienor systemd[1]: Failed to start Apply Kernel Variables.
-- Subject: L'unité (unit) systemd-sysctl.service a échoué

   * What outcome did you expect instead?
A good procps update I suppose :)

This a blocking bug wich leads to the impossibility to use Evolution
with an Exchange account.

Thanks.
