Bug#794524: gnome-lirc-properties complains there is no python module named glade

2015-08-03 Thread Albert Lash
Package: gnome-lirc-properties
Version: 0.5.1-0ubuntu1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I installed gnome-lirc-properties on xubuntu wily (which I think was originally
a minimal desktop install, not a full desktop install) and found it needs
a python glade library that it doesn't depend upon. Its probably an easy fix of
adding a dependency. Thanks so much!

This is what I get when I try to run it:

all@megadon:~/annex$ dpkg -l | grep glade
ii libglade2-0:amd64 1:2.6.4-2
amd64library to load .glade files at runtime

Bug#549354: A fix for git

2010-10-11 Thread Albert Lash
Hello,

This issue was annoying me, so I hunted down this bug and tried some
variations. I found a fix with git ls-files, and the diff is here:

http://www.docunext.com/wiki/Etckeeper

Thanks for another awesome piece of software, Joey!

Bug#551961: movabletype-plugin-core: Zemanta plugin will not disable.

Severity: minor

After upgrading to 4.3.2-1 a new window appears: Zemanta Content
Recommendations. There is apparently a bug which prevents this plugin from
getting disabled, but I also have a problem with something getting installed on
my server which accesses the remote networks without my permission.

Bug#551961: Works now

2009-10-21 Thread Albert Lash
I spoke too soon - the plugin does disable properly. I'm not sure what
caused the initial problem, but shortly after the bug report I was able to
disable the plugin without a problem.

I still think this plugin should be disabled by default as it does connect
to external networks on its own accord.

Bug#499862: Include courier.schema with phpldapadmin?

2009-08-23 Thread Albert Lash
I did some searching and found a copy of a courier.schema that works with
phpldapadmin. I posted a version here:

http://www.docunext.com/wiki/LDAP_Schema_for_Courier

It must be included in slapd.conf, and I had to purge the cache in
phpldapadmin before I could get it to work.

Rock On,

All buildds build it fine, and I just tried again, and it builds fine

Bug#501289: csync2 SSL problem

I am also having problems with csync2 and ssl.

csync -xvvv

Peer OK (activating_ssl).\n

Csync2 daemon running. Waiting for connections.
6375 New connection from 192.168.8.101:46027.
Peer SSL\n
Local OK (activating_ssl).\n
6375 Establishing SSL connection failed.

Both with openbsd-inetd and standalone.

I've followed the instructions in /usr/share/doc/csync2/README.Debian, and
had been able to get this to work last year.
