Bug#981586: Bullseye armhf kernel for Raspberry Pi 4b does not boot

2021-03-16 Thread LinAdmin
I just wonder why the famous experts maintaining this
extremely useful multi arch armhf kernel preferred to close
former errors with the lame excuse that for Pi4 one should
use arm64 which shows considerable lower throughput.

All it needs to get a kernel booting on Pi4 is changing
three switches in menuconfig:

CONFIG_PCIE_BRCMSTB=y

CONFIG_RESET_RASPERBERRY=y

RESET_BRCMSTB_RESCAL=y

The resulting kernel is a few KB bigger but does still boot
on the other relevant hardware I own: Banana Pi & exynos board.

Bug#819881: radeon_fence_ref BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference

2016-04-06 Thread LinAdmin
Ben

After the recent upgrade of Debian Jessie several systems
here started suffering from the same GPF.

I think it would be helpful for everybody concerned if you
could publish in the buglist the date you intend to release
the upgrade fixing this bug.

Many thanks for your help and kind regards!
