 Hi,

can you try to install with the PS/2 keyboard, check what modules are loaded
(lsmod) and the connect the other keyboard and check again for the loaded
 modules? anything changes?

I googled a bit and there are other reports of that keyboard not working in
linux with usb but i couldn't find a fix. There are reports of the working
 keyboards also,,,

another thing you can try is to install and upgrade the kernel to check if
there's a driver fixed on a newer version.

I did try to install using PS/2 keyboard, I saved a log [ log1.txt =
output of lsmod ].

When finished, before to reboot, I saved another log file [ log2.txt =
output of lsmod ].

After to reboot, when the installed system is loaded I disconnected
the PS/2 keyboard connected the USB keyboard(it works), and I saved
another log file [ log3.txt = output of lsmod ].

While I was disconnecting/connecting keyboards I saved a output of

This is the link:
http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/daily-builds/daily/current/amd64/iso-cd/debian-testing-amd64-netinst.iso

When the installer starts the keyboard led is on and I can use it, but
after select press Install o another options as Advanced
options/Expert install or Advanced options/Graphic ...install from
Installer boot menu the keyboard led switch off, so any key press is
useless, because doesn't any action.

I can't switch to virtual consoles.

On Graphic mode, only my USB mouse works.

I already tried with another USB keyboard, but it didn't work.

also, I tried with an old images:
http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/daily-builds/squeeze_d-i/amd64/iso-cd/

but the same result.

Thanks

Could you test one of these:

 particularly
 http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/.squeeze_beta1/amd64/iso-cd/debian-squeeze-di-beta1-amd64-netinst.iso

Ok, I downloaded this image, but the same result.

Exists some parameter that I can append to the kernel?

Thank you again.

Steps.

- I ran the installer.
- I checked if USB keyboard works, it didn't work (I expected that :\).
- I disconnected the USB keyboard.
- I connected the PS/2 keyboard.
- I advanced with the installer process, I looked for the option to
save a log with all events, selected web option and from another
computer I could get this information.
