Bug#1056919: ardour: Appears in menus as Ardour7
Hi and thanks for the report. I've already fixed that the 29 october but didn't ask for a new build since it's only a small thing that can wait for the next upload. In other words, next time something will be done on the build (probably next version if nothing important comes up before), it will be there. Bug#999458: zynaddsubfx: Feature Request: Integration of Zyn-fusion (new GUI)
Hi all, I'm adding some information here. By the way, some people tell that Zyn-fusion is not working well (see messages on http://lists.sourceforge.net/mailman/listinfo/zynaddsubfx-user). I didn't test it myself but upgrading to Zyn-fusion does not seem to be a priority. Caution here, if I'm not wrong, the upstream developement is on Zyn-Fusion rather than the oldish-GUI. Hence a few new features are only usable in the zyn-fusion GUI which can make it a priority. Another solution (if possible): compile two versions of zynaddsubfx, the "old" interface and the new one (zyn-fusion). Agreed here, that would be the best solution. Bye all and take care. Olivier

Bug#941340: sooperlooper: Should sooperlooper be removed from Debian?
Hi here. Adding a +1 here for keeping SooperLooper in Debian archive. It's a great tools without much competitor at the same level out there. I've had a look to the outstanding bugs. 1. one is just a user using the wrong binary to launch sooperlooper (#920813) 2. one is probably something coming from the time stretch was in dev (#836232) and I can't reproduce it now on Stretch or Buster. 3. one is from a very old version of sooperlooper : 1.6.14 dating back from 2009 (see http://essej.net/sooperlooper/), so should probably be closed if unreproducible nowadays (#596392) 4. the last one is about building against gtk3 wx instead of gtk wx and it is the case nowadays if I'm not wrong reading at https://salsa.debian.org/multimedia-team/sooperlooper/blob/master/debian/control so should probably be closed as well (#933425) I've been talking with upstream those last few days and he might be willing to release a new version including a bunch of different fixes. See https://github.com/essej/sooperlooper/pull/13 It could then be wise to keep it in Debian regarding all of that. Hope that helps. Bug#871933: xsynth-dssi: no Gui for plugin after loading
Hi. Today, I made a rebuild of the 0.9.4-2 package on a Debian Stretch. This is strange because the 0.9.4-2 binary package (amd64) from the Debian repository works fine here (GUI displayed), but if I make a rebuild of this very package (without changing anything), the GUI isn't displayed. I hope the more-than-me knowledgeable people will find what's wrong here since I'm very puzzled myself and don't know who/where to investigate. HTH, Olivier

Hi Jens, and thanks for your quick answer. But the same fails if I add the letter "Ă" to d/changelog. I assume you have some unicode/non-ascii letter entry there!? Well see, that was it.
