Bug#1006942: safeeyes: Safeeyes no longer seems to appears in the KDE/Plasma system tray

2022-11-21 Thread Quentin Hibon
Upstream has now released a new version, so now it's just a matter of
updating the version in Debian to fix this:

Indeed; it is fixed in commit
https://github.com/slgobinath/SafeEyes/commit/c784000e694f9fa508a2535f5d23d04456b4ff86
but upstream have not yet released a new version of the package.

Please could you upload a patched version to Debian?

Best wishes,

Bug#872046: isync: does not synchronize yahoo email accounts anymore

2017-08-13 Thread Quentin Hibon

the error message you're getting is just an elaborate way of saying
"login failed". judging by the mozilla bug, the problem might be that
you're using different capitalization of your login name.

I don't get that from the mozilla bug, they mention capitalization of
mechanisms, but not of logins, see for instance this diff:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=351=diff
where they replace "login" and "plain" by "LOGIN" and "PLAIN".

alternatively, the login *is* wrong, because the password expired or
something like that.

if neither applies, try configuring "AuthMech LOGIN".

AuthMech LOGIN works indeed (so my logins and passwords are correct).

Bug#845139: clementine: does not append music to the playlist in the same order as the file explorer

2016-11-20 Thread Quentin Hibon

Package: clementine
Version: 1.2.3+dfsg-2+b1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

  * What led up to the situation?

clementine is configured to append to the current playlist by default, and
play the song(s) appended if none is currently playing.

  * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?

I use a file explorer (either the default one packaged with Gnome or
PCManFM), select a few songs, and open them with clementine (using the
  context menu or a drag-and-drop).

  * What was the outcome of this action?

Files are not appended as ordered in the file explorer, but in a seemingly
random order instead. If I try to add them again right after, they are
  appended in the right order.

  * What outcome did you expect instead?

Songs should be added in the order displayed in the file explorer, or at
  least in a deterministic manner.
