Bug#617073: strongwind: deprecation of dh_pycentral, please use dh_python2
Hi Jakub, Sorry I miss the first email, and taking this too long. By looking at debian/control, there is neither python-central nor any python helpers as build dependencies, is it because I add ${python:Depends}, ${shlibs:Depends} and ${python:Provides}? I remove these variables and pbuilder-dist unstable to test it without the error message you have, and upload the package to http://mentors.debian.net/, could you please help me to sponsor it? :) Thanks a lot On Fri, Sep 23, 2011 at 4:24 AM, Jakub Wilk jw...@debian.org wrote: * Matthias Klose d...@debian.org, 2011-03-07, 00:52: The package build-depends on python-central, which should be removed in time for the wheezy release. Strongwind is object-oriented and extensible. You can use Strongwind to build object-oriented representations of your applications (application wrappers), then reuse the application wrappers to quickly develop many test scripts. Strongwind scripts generate a human-readable log that contains the action, expected result and a screen shot of each step. Most simple actions are logged automatically. Strongwind is written in Python and uses the pyatspi library to manipulate and query the state of applications. Strongwind automatically classifies widgets by their ATK role. By default, Strongwind provides implementations for common actions on regular widgets -- for example, selecting an item in a menu or asserting that a window has closed -- but you can extend Strongwind's implementations or add your own implementations for custom widgets to handle alternate behaviors or custom widgets in your applications. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Will they be uploaded to experimental soonish (to get them out of NEW) and then to unstable? They're part of GNOME 2.30, which is a goal for squeeze, and as such should go into unstable as soon as a stable release exists.
