Bug#316233: eagle-usb-utils: bug still occurs

2005-09-02 Thread Remi Pannequin
Package: eagle-usb-utils
Version: 2.1.1-2
Followup-For: Bug #316233

Hello,

Bug #316233 still occurs. Not always, but at a significant rate. This
problem seems to have been identified upstream
(http://forum.eagle-usb.org/viewtopic.php?t=3358).

This bug is also not specific to this particular version of eagle-usb,
since users of (newer) version 2.3.2 also reported this problem.

Bug#316233: eagle-usb-utils: bug no longer occurs

2005-07-23 Thread Remi Pannequin
Package: eagle-usb-utils
Version: 2.1.1-2
Followup-For: Bug #316233

After rebooting the connected machine, this bug no longer occurs. I
still don't know what did causes the wrong behaviour.

I leave to you the responsibility to close the bug, as this can be
considered as a robustness problem.

I hope I won't be able to reproduce this bug ;-)

Cheers,

Rémi

Bug#316233: eagle-usb-utils: pppoa not killed on deconnection/reconnection

2005-06-29 Thread Remi Pannequin
Package: eagle-usb-utils
Version: 2.1.1-2
Severity: normal

Hello,

When my ISP shut down my connection (every 24h), the pppoa demons are
not killed.

I have to SIGKILL them (SIGTERM don't work).

It's annoying because they fill logs with errors messages...

Jun 29 10:01:34 ballyhoo pppd[11194]: LCP terminated by peer
Jun 29 10:01:34 ballyhoo pppd[11194]: Connect time 1440.0 minutes.

Jun 29 10:01:39 ballyhoo pppoa[17263]: Packet not from driver (mac:

etc...

My configuration is perhaps incorrect... Let me known if you want
further details !

Sincerely,

Rémi
