Hi Luca,

I checked with version 0.19.2-2 and with all pleasure am able to confirm
that the bug is fixed.

Thanks,

 According to the upstream tracker, the bug was fixed in the CVS

 can not find any note about that in the CVS log, but I guess it was with

I've got the new version of UFRaw and notice such a great feature as
lense correction. However, correction values are not loaded back from
the index file after saving. Here is a diff of an index file after opening
and saving back without any modifications in UFRaw GUI:

In addition to that you could notice also that WB and Crop values were

I use 2-pass image transformation: firstly I process NEF images with
ufraw-batch and then I manually change some images with GUI. Ignorance of the
saved values in index causes a lot of inconvenience.

Bug#602085: fail2ban doesn't respond well for quick distributed attacks (patch)

Hm... I am sorry but I am a bit confused... Is that correct:

before you had following situation: iptables-multiport used for banning
which did not actually ban the IP, thus you were receiving consecutive
'already banned' (due to banning being ineffective due to misspecified
port) and 1 second sleeps after each new ban.

The situation was exactly as you wrote :)

According to that code review, it seems to remain that fail2ban
sleeps for 1 second after each new ban action, which might be undesired
if there is a flood of attempts; thus might need an improvement to
provide timely banning if illegal attempts are concentrated in time...
or am I wrong?

It sleeps for 1 second only if __checkBan returns False, which happens
if there is no tickets in queue or already banned error occured. There
might be protection against flood somewhere else in code, I'm not sure.
However there haven't been more overload of fail2ban after correction
of jail rule.

Bug#511581: sqlrelay on mentors (new upstream release 0.41)

2009-09-10 Thread Renat Sabitov

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for the new upstream version 0.41 of package
sqlrelay.

It builds these binary packages:
libdbd-sqlrelay-perl
libfirstworks-sqlr-perl
libsqlrelay-0.41
libsqlrelay-java
libsqlrelay-ruby
libsqlrelay-tcl
php5-sqlrelay
python-sqlrelay
sqlrelay
sqlrelay-dev
sqlrelay-doc
sqlrelay-freetds
sqlrelay-mdb
sqlrelay-mysql
sqlrelay-odbc
sqlrelay-postgresql
sqlrelay-sqlite
zope-sqlrelayda

The upload would fix these bugs: 511581, 251645, 429667, 477403, 455392

The package can be found on mentors.debian.net:
- URL: http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/s/sqlrelay
- dget
http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/s/sqlrelay/sqlrelay_0.41-1.dsc

I would be glad if someone uploaded this package for me.

After recent upgrade my system freezes just like described in this bug.
For the first I thinked that new nvidia driver was the cause of problem,
but after some experiments, described in bug #499541, I found that
downgrading to .24 solved my problem.

Btw, I have cronyd installed.

Bug#418524: Acknowledgement (tora: Bad input and output of cyrillic symbols)

2007-04-10 Thread Renat Sabitov

This is way to solve problem (tested by myself):

from http://www.nabble.com/No-Umlaut-with-tora-t1649798.html

by Dandrea Francesco May 19, 2006;

There is a bug in Qscintilla with the management of Utf8.
I sent a patch to the Qscintilla developer that fixed the problem (it's
in Qscintilla CVS I think). It's attached to the mail.
If you downolad the Qscintilla source, apply the patch, and compile all,
you can then modify the Tora source putting the call

this-setUtf8(true);
in the constructor of toMarkedText.
I have other problems with italian accented letters, (they always
appears as a square...), but if you are able to see umlaut maybe it will
works for you. Otherwise you have to look to the oracle connection
management probably

Bug#328596: apache2-mpm-prefork: cgi with /usr/bin/dot keep 100% CPU for 30 sec but from shell - less than second

Package: apache2-mpm-prefork
Version: 2.0.54-5

Bugzilla create graphs for bug dependences with dot. And this process is
VERY slow. For the tests i am create cgi:

$ cat /var/www/bugzilla/b.cgi
#!/bin/bash
echo Content-Type: text/html
echo
echo
echo Start dot  `date` br
/usr/bin/dot -Tpng /tmp/test.dot -o /tmp/test.png
echo Dot stopped  `date` br

$ cat /tmp/test.dot

size=64,64]

292 [label=292\n,color=green]
288 [label=288\n,shape=box,color=green]
290 [label=290\n,color=green]
}

Result from web:
Start dot Fri Sep 16 14:04:16 MSD 2005
Dot stopped Fri Sep 16 14:04:34 MSD 2005

Result from shell:

	Hello, Renat. What does your screen version have to do with your problem in
xterm? Maybe are you seeing this problem in screen sessions run inside an
xterm?

Hello, David.

Yes, it is. In subject i am wrote xterm + screen = lost characters in
output. Without screen there is no character lost. And screen works
perfectly in linux console. Problem with combination of screen and xterm.

I am use apt-get dist-upgrade about a week ago, there is no problem
before. xterm and screen settings is same.

Bug#300210: graphviz: apt-cache dotty | dot -Tps debian-deps.ps command not complete in 24 hours

2005-03-18 Thread Renat Sabitov
Package: graphviz
Version: 2.2-2
Severity: normal

On my box with Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz with 1GB RAM apt-cache
dotty | dot -Tps debian-deps.ps command not complete in 24 hours.
Out file size is 0. Virtual memory size was 1.6 Gb, proccess occuped
800Mb of physical memory.

This problem is not a problem of just apt-cache dotty. Graph from
bugzilla with 4 nodes and 3 arrows takes 30 sec to compete.

dot is VERY slow, and my opinion this is a problem.

And some more about initrd. I am add in /etc/mkinitrd/modules 2 modules
