Bug#526272: ekiga: Add an option to ring through PC-Speaker
Package: ekiga Version: 2.0.12-1+nmu1+b1 Severity: wishlist Actually, I just started to use v3.3.0 SVN snapshot. In this version, it is possible to ring through an alternative device. Even these days, every computer should have a PC Speaker. It would be nice to add an option to ring the PCSpeaker. I have only a headset and if not have it on my ears, or stay away from the computer, I usually miss the call, because the sound from the headset was not loud enough. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.29-1-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages ekiga depends on: ii evolution-data-server 2.26.1.1-1evolution database backend server ii gconf2 2.26.0-1 GNOME configuration database syste ii libart-2.0-2 2.3.20-2 Library of functions for 2D graphi ii libatk1.0-01.26.0-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libavahi-client3 0.6.25-1 Avahi client library ii libavahi-common3 0.6.25-1 Avahi common library ii libavahi-glib1 0.6.25-1 Avahi glib integration library ii libbonobo2-0 2.24.1-1 Bonobo CORBA interfaces library ii libbonoboui2-0 2.24.1-1 The Bonobo UI library ii libc6 2.9-8 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcairo2 1.8.6-2+b1The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libebook1.2-9 2.26.1.1-1Client library for evolution addre ii libedataserver1.2-11 2.26.1.1-1Utility library for evolution data ii libesd-alsa0 [libesd0] 0.2.41-3 Enlightened Sound Daemon (ALSA) - ii libfontconfig1 2.6.0-3 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.3.9-4.1 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libgcc11:4.3.3-8 GCC support library ii libgconf2-42.26.0-1 GNOME configuration database syste ii libglib2.0-0 2.20.1-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnome2-02.26.0-1 The GNOME library - runtime files ii libgnomecanvas2-0 2.20.1.1-1A powerful object-oriented display ii libgnomeui-0 2.24.1-1 The GNOME 2 libraries (User Interf ii libgnomevfs2-0 1:2.24.1-1GNOME Virtual File System (runtime ii libgtk2.0-02.16.1-2 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libice62:1.0.5-1 X11 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libopal-2.22.2.11~dfsg1-4Open Phone Abstraction Library - s ii liborbit2 1:2.14.17-0.1 libraries for ORBit2 - a CORBA ORB ii libpango1.0-0 1.24.0-3+b1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libpopt0 1.14-4lib for parsing cmdline parameters ii libpt-1.10.10 1.10.10-3 Portable Windows Library ii libsdl1.2debian1.2.13-4+b1 Simple DirectMedia Layer ii libsm6 2:1.1.0-2 X11 Session Management library ii libsoup2.4-1 2.26.1-1 an HTTP library implementation in ii libstdc++6 4.3.3-8 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 2:1.2.1-1 X11 client-side library ii libxml22.7.3.dfsg-1 GNOME XML library ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-13 compression library - runtime Versions of packages ekiga recommends: ii yelp 2.24.0-2 Help browser for GNOME 2 Versions of packages ekiga suggests: pn asterisk (no description available) pn callweaver (no description available) pn gnugk (no description available) pn mediaproxy (no description available) pn openser(no description available) pn rtpproxy (no description available) pn ser(no description available) pn siproxd(no description available) pn yate (no description available) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#512349: acpi-support: Asus wireless: radio disabled (/etc/acpi/asus-wireless.sh called twice)
Package: acpi-support Version: 0.109-10 Severity: important On an ASUS notebook, I managed to get the wireless interface working. The only trouble right now is causes by conflicting of acpi-support and acpid packages. When only "acpid" package is installed, it seems to work as expected. The problem in this case is the non-functional "brightness", "volume up, down, mute" acpi buttons. If the "acpi-support" package is installed, these buttons work ok, but the wireless has the radio disabled. It is caused by the fact, that the script "/etc/acpi/asus-wireless.sh" is called twice. Since it does just the "toggle" function controlling the radio, it switches it on and off again. Sometimes, the LED blinks one time which ensures this opinion. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages acpi-support depends on: ii acpi-support-base 0.109-10 scripts for handling base ACPI eve ii acpid 1.0.8-1Utilities for using ACPI power man ii dmidecode 2.9-1 Dump Desktop Management Interface ii finger0.17-12user information lookup program ii hdparm8.9-3 tune hard disk parameters for high ii laptop-detect 0.13.7 attempt to detect a laptop ii libc6 2.7-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii lsb-base 3.2-20 Linux Standard Base 3.2 init scrip ii powermgmt-base1.30+nmu1 Common utils and configs for power ii vbetool 1.1-2 run real-mode video BIOS code to a ii x11-xserver-utils 7.3+5 X server utilities Versions of packages acpi-support recommends: ii dbus 1.2.1-5simple interprocess messaging syst ii hal 0.5.11-8 Hardware Abstraction Layer ii nvclock 0.8b3-1Allows you to overclock your nVidi ii pm-utils 1.1.2.4-1 utilities and scripts for power ma ii radeontool1.5-5 utility to control ATI Radeon back ii toshset 1.73-3 Access much of the Toshiba laptop Versions of packages acpi-support suggests: ii laptop-mode-tools 1.45-1 Scripts to spin down hard drive an -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#454371: openvpn: initscript doesn't stop asking the pass phrase
Package: openvpn Version: 2.0.9-8 Severity: normal At system startup, the /etc/init.d/openvpn script is invoked. It shows up the question about entering the passphrase but it somehow automatically eats a text (maybe the delayed output of other starting processes) saying that this "passphrase" is not valid, auth fails and it silently continues with the system startup. The result is that I'm not even able to enter the passphrase and to initialize the VPN connection at system startup.
