Bug#913632: connmand service segfaults on start after iwd-0.10 package upgrade

2018-11-13 Thread Sergey Popov
Package: connman
Version: 1.36-1
Severity: normal
Tags: patch

Dear Maintainer,

Since iwd-0.10-1 is now in sid and buster, connmand is no longer able to
start. The issue is already fixed in upstream
(https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/network/connman/connman.git/commit/?id=bc97d6602f7991e8c36252dae15673fb0b250d00),
 but there's no release
yet. Probably the patch should be included in the debian package?

Here's an excerpt fron commnand startup log:

The X server have no problem with kernel 3.13.

The problem starts after upgrade xserver-xorg-video-intel
to 2:2.99.917+git20171229-1+b1. Previous version worked with kernel 4.x without
problem.
