Bug#839599: powerline: plugin fails to load
I can confirm this bug. I could solve the problem installing the package python3-powerline. Maybe vim is configured to call python3 instead of the default python? Bug#690835: xterm: Sometimes xterm does not show last lines of the output when xft font is used
Package: xterm Version: 278-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, When xterm is using Xft rendering of fonts, and the output reach the end of the window, last lines are sometimes replaced by blank lines. The frequency of this behaviour is not regular. For example, you can execute the 'ls' command twenty times and see five times that the last lines are not shown, or see a normal behaviour all times. Alt-tab and other actions cause the screen to refresh and display everything. The easiest way to reproduce this behaviour is call xterm with '-fa' option: xterm -fa 'Bitstream Vera Sans Mono:style=Roman:size=11' and press "return key" until reach the end of the window. Then two in three times the last line is a blank line, rather than the expected prompt of the shell and the cursor. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'testing-proposed-updates'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=es_ES.utf8, LC_CTYPE=es_ES.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages xterm depends on: ii libc6 2.13-35 ii libfontconfig1 2.9.0-7 ii libice6 2:1.0.8-2 ii libtinfo5 5.9-10 ii libutempter01.1.5-4 ii libx11-62:1.5.0-1 ii libxaw7 2:1.0.10-2 ii libxft2 2.3.1-1 ii libxmu6 2:1.1.1-1 ii libxt6 1:1.1.3-1 ii xbitmaps1.1.1-1 Versions of packages xterm recommends: ii x11-utils 7.7~1 Versions of packages xterm suggests: pn xfonts-cyrillic -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". The problem started when the testing Debian distribution was upgraded one week ago. I do not know how to reproduce the problem. The program "gnome-panel" begin to eat almost all CPU suddenly, after having worked for many hours. After killing "gnome-panel", other process seem to work perfectly. I have three panels on the Desktop, with many launchers and the following applets on them: GNOME_WindowListApple GNOME_WindowMenuApplet GNOME_WorkspaceSwitcherApplet GNOME_ClockApplet GNOME_MultiLoadApplet GNOME_NotificationAreaApple SensorsApplet GNOME_GWeatherApplet GNOME_StickyNotesApple GNOME_NetspeedApplet GNOME_NetstatusApplet -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers proposed-updates APT policy: (500, 'proposed-updates'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.21 Locale: LANG=es_ES.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_ES.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages gnome-panel depends on: ii gnome-about 2.20.2-1 The GNOME about box ii gnome-control-center1:2.20.1-2 utilities to configure the GNOME d ii gnome-desktop-data 2.20.2-1 Common files for GNOME 2 desktop a ii gnome-menus 2.20.2-1 an implementation of the freedeskt ii gnome-panel-data2.20.2-2 common files for the GNOME Panel ii libatk1.0-0 1.20.0-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libbonobo2-02.20.2-1 Bonobo CORBA interfaces library ii libbonoboui2-0 2.20.0-1 The Bonobo UI library ii libc6 2.7-5GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcairo2 1.4.10-1 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libdbus-glib-1-20.74-1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libecal1.2-71.12.2-1 Client library for evolution calen ii libedataserver1.2-9 1.12.2-1 Utility library for evolution data ii libedataserverui1.2-8 1.12.2-1 GUI utility library for evolution ii libgconf2-4 2.20.1-2 GNOME configuration database syste ii libglade2-0 1:2.6.2-1library to load .glade files at ru ii libglib2.0-02.14.3-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnome-desktop-2 2.20.2-1 Utility library for loading .deskt ii libgnome-menu2 2.20.2-1 an implementation of the freedeskt ii libgnome2-0 2.20.1.1-1 The GNOME 2 library - runtime file ii libgnomeui-02.20.1.1-1 The GNOME 2 libraries (User Interf ii libgnomevfs2-0 1:2.20.1-1 GNOME Virtual File System (runtime ii libgtk2.0-0 2.12.1-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii liborbit2 1:2.14.7-0.1 libraries for ORBit2 - a CORBA ORB ii libpanel-applet2-0 2.20.2-2 library for GNOME Panel applets ii libpango1.0-0 1.18.3-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libwnck22 2.20.2-1 Window Navigator Construction Kit ii libx11-62:1.0.3-7X11 client-side library ii libxau6 1:1.0.3-2X11 authorisation library ii menu-xdg0.3 freedesktop.org menu compliant win Versions of packages gnome-panel recommends: ii alacarte 0.11.3-1easy GNOME menu editing tool pn evolution-data-server (no description available) ii gnome-applets2.20.0-1+b1 Various applets for GNOME 2 panel ii gnome-icon-theme 2.20.0-1GNOME Desktop icon theme ii gnome-session2.20.2-1The GNOME 2 Session Manager -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
