Bug#960454: chromium: Make Chromium ask before downloading and enabling DRM

2020-05-12 Thread Stefan Lithén
Package: chromium
Version: 80.0.3987.162-1~deb10u1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

When using Chromium and visiting websites that need DRM to be enabled, Chromium
automatically downloads and enables DRM.
These are binary blobs that are not free software.
No notification is made to the user that (s)he is now using non-free software.

If possible if would be great to have a switch in the settings for this (like
Firefox has).
Or at least that the user be showned a message that this website has made
chromium now using non-free software.

2020-04-26 Thread Stefan Lithén
Package: audacious
Followup-For: Bug #920978

Dear Maintainer,

>From the release notes of Audacious 4.0:

"GTK2 remains available and supported as a build option, but new features will
only be added to the Qt UI going forward."

So to not loose any features QT should be included in the debian package.

Best regards, Stefan.

Bug#954450: Problems with links on https://wiki.debian.org/Modules

2020-03-21 Thread Stefan Lithén
Package: wiki.debian.org

The webpage https://wiki.debian.org/Modules has problems with some links.
1) The link to update-modules brings you to error page
https://dyn.manpages.debian.org/man/8/update-modules?
2) The link to depmod.conf brings you to error page
https://dyn.manpages.debian.org/man/5/depmod.conf?
3) The link to modprobe.conf brings you to japanise page
https://manpages.debian.org/buster/manpages-ja/modprobe.conf.5.ja.html

Bug#765854: Any update on this?

2018-01-07 Thread Stefan Lithén
What happens with this bug?

I have now tried on a fresh Debian Stretch install and my home folder
never gets unmounted :(

Not even with the ecryptfs-umount-private.service hack.

I'm thinking maybe because "a real logout" is not done?

Because if adding a user to new groups, logout/logoin through
GDM/lightdm does not update the groups memebership according to command
'id'.

Best regards, Stefan.

I used Julian Andres Klodes fix and it worked great.
