Bug#716998: rhythmbox: RB ignores id3v2 TYER tag since build for gstreamer1.0
Package: rhythmbox Version: 2.99.1-3 Severity: normal Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer, rhythmbox silently ignores id3v2-tag 'TYER' (year) since version 2.99 (?) (build for gstreamer1.0). This seems to apply only to newly imported mp3-files. The id3v2 (v2.3) tag TYER is tagged correct and displayed correct by mp3info, banshee etc. Upstream is aware of the issue [1] and fixed it in git - any chance you get this fix in the debian package? Bug#331706: cupsys-daemon from inetd
Package: cupsys Version: 1.1.23-12 Severity: wishlist Hi, i'd like to see cupsys not starting as normal standalone daemon, but from inetd. Why: As a desktop-laptop-user I (others too?) barely print. But everytime I boot the system I have to wait till the cupsys-daemon fires up - waiting endlessly for a print job. Most of the time cupsys gets stopped jobless when I shut down the system. So: I'd rather wait a litte bit longer for my rare printouts as for my system booting. In addition the cupsys-daemon uses system resources without anything to do - not very effective. Solution: Samba asks me (dpkg-reconfigure) wheter it should run as a standalone daemon or from inetd. Perhaps this would be a good idea for cupsys to? Greetings, thomas PS: Hope my asumptions about inetd are accurate and apply technically-spoken also for cupsys. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (900, 'stable'), (22, 'unstable'), (20, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12 Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages cupsys depends on: ii adduser 3.67 Add and remove users and groups ii debconf [debconf-2. 1.4.58 Debian configuration management sy ii gs-esp 8+8.15rc4.dfsg.1-2.1 The Ghostscript PostScript interpr ii libc6 2.3.5-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libcupsimage2 1.1.23-12Common UNIX Printing System(tm) - ii libcupsys2 1.1.23-12Common UNIX Printing System(tm) - ii libgnutls12 1.2.6-1 the GNU TLS library - runtime libr ii libpam0g0.76-23 Pluggable Authentication Modules l ii libpaper1 1.1.14-3 Library for handling paper charact ii libslp1 1.2.1-2 OpenSLP libraries ii patch 2.5.9-2 Apply a diff file to an original ii perl-modules5.8.7-5 Core Perl modules ii procps 1:3.2.5-1/proc file system utilities ii xpdf-utils 3.01-1 Portable Document Format (PDF) sui ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-4compression library - runtime Versions of packages cupsys recommends: ii cupsys-client 1.1.23-12Common UNIX Printing System(tm) - ii foomatic-filters3.0.2-20050720-1 linuxprinting.org printer support ii smbclient 3.0.14a-6a LanManager-like simple client fo -- debconf information: cupsys/raw-print: true cupsys/backend: ipp, lpd, parallel, socket, usb -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#298192: udev: segfault with new rule on startup
Hi, first some more info about this strange behaviour... * Rules and examples: When I invoke udev via /etc/init.d/udev (re)start with this "buggy" rule [BUS="pci", DRIVER="ipw2100", NAME="ipw2100"] I get: mala:~/sourcen# /etc/init.d/udev restart Recreating device nodes.../etc/init.d/udev: line 216: 13006 Segmentation fault udevstart mala:~/sourcen# With this rule [BUS="pci", ID=":02:02.0", NAME="ipw2100"] everything works like expected. * Versions: Package: udev Version: 0.054-2 Versions of packages udev depends on: ii hotplug0.0.20040329-17 Linux Hotplug Scripts ii initscripts2.86.ds1-1 Standard scripts needed for bootin ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii makedev2.3.1-75Creates device files in /dev * Retrying with debug symbols: Don't know how to enable debugging symbols, can't find it in rules. Bug#298192: udev: segfault with new rule on startup
Package: udev Severity: important hi, after building a rule for my ipw2100-interface (change kernel-naming), i get a segfault on udev-restart. this behaviour is reproducible. when commenting out this rule, udev works as usual. here's the rule: BUS="pci", SUBSYSTEM="net", DRIVER="ipw2100", NAME="wlan" greetings, thomas -- Package-specific info: -- /etc/udev/rules.d/: /etc/udev/rules.d/: insgesamt 0 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 24 2004-12-27 23:06 10_theo.rules -> ../theo-udev-rules.rules lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 12 2005-02-25 23:40 z_hal-plugdev.rules -> ../hal.rules -- /sys/: /sys/block/hda/dev /sys/block/hda/hda1/dev /sys/block/hda/hda2/dev /sys/block/hda/hda3/dev /sys/block/hda/hda5/dev /sys/block/hda/hda6/dev /sys/block/hda/hda7/dev /sys/block/hda/hda8/dev /sys/block/hdc/dev /sys/block/loop0/dev /sys/block/loop1/dev /sys/block/loop2/dev /sys/block/loop3/dev /sys/block/loop4/dev /sys/block/loop5/dev /sys/block/loop6/dev /sys/block/loop7/dev /sys/block/ram0/dev /sys/block/ram10/dev /sys/block/ram11/dev /sys/block/ram12/dev /sys/block/ram13/dev /sys/block/ram14/dev /sys/block/ram15/dev /sys/block/ram1/dev /sys/block/ram2/dev /sys/block/ram3/dev /sys/block/ram4/dev /sys/block/ram5/dev /sys/block/ram6/dev /sys/block/ram7/dev /sys/block/ram8/dev /sys/block/ram9/dev /sys/class/graphics/fb0/dev /sys/class/input/event0/dev /sys/class/input/event1/dev /sys/class/input/mice/dev /sys/class/input/mouse0/dev /sys/class/misc/agpgart/dev /sys/class/misc/hpet/dev /sys/class/misc/nvram/dev /sys/class/misc/psaux/dev /sys/class/ppp/ppp/dev /sys/class/printer/lp0/dev /sys/class/sound/adsp/dev /sys/class/sound/audio1/dev /sys/class/sound/audio/dev /sys/class/sound/controlC0/dev /sys/class/sound/controlC1/dev /sys/class/sound/dsp1/dev /sys/class/sound/dsp/dev /sys/class/sound/mixer1/dev /sys/class/sound/mixer/dev /sys/class/sound/pcmC0D0c/dev /sys/class/sound/pcmC0D0p/dev /sys/class/sound/pcmC0D1c/dev /sys/class/sound/pcmC0D2c/dev /sys/class/sound/pcmC0D3c/dev /sys/class/sound/pcmC0D4p/dev /sys/class/sound/pcmC1D0c/dev /sys/class/sound/pcmC1D0p/dev /sys/class/sound/timer/dev -- Kernel configuration: isapnp_init not present. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: sh: line 1: /dev/null: Keine Berechtigung (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.10 Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
