Bug#593336: New version breaks encfs in some ways in combination with pam_encfs
> Thomas, thanks for the quick response. No problem I applied the patch you sent on my system to try, everything works fine now ! Thanks a lot ! Bug#593336: (no subject)
I can (alas) also confirm this bug. Having a fully encrypted home and using libpam-encfs to do the mount operation at login time, I am not able to do a login with pam-encfs enabled since the libfuse2 upgrade to 2.8.4-1.1. With the last version (2.8.4-1.1) I can mount the encrypted fs with "-o allow_other,nonempty", both with root and normal user. To be able to do that, I had to 'fusermount -u' the mountpoint after the terminated pam-encfs attempt or enfs would just hang there trying to mount the fs. Also, any call to lsof or ls in the folder containing the mountpoint would hang and need to be killed if the mountpoint is not "cleaned". I didn't try to downgrade the package. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
