Bug#630566: linux-source-2.6.39: 2.6.39-2 : bluetooth broken
Am Mittwoch, 15. Juni 2011, 13:26:50 schrieben Sie: did you try 3.0-rc2 in experimental? thanks I tried it now and the problem is the same (same error). btw. I had trouble to compile the 3.0 kernel. I needed to remove the modules apm and lguest. It also uses much more ram than 2.6.39. Probably it needs an updated kernel-package and some more work but that has nothing to do with the bluetooth problem of course. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#618569:
Hi, After upgrade to squeeze (1.9.9-2) avelsieve does not connect to dovecot (pidgenhole) sieve implementation any more: cannot connect to timsieve server. I had this as well and it is because avelsieve tries to connect to port 4190 instead of 2000 (see below), which dovecot uses by default. Changing the port in avelsieve config.php back to 2000 solves the problem. What is the reason for this change ? /** DEBIAN CHANGE: Depsite upstream's intention Debian changed this default * distribution wide to 4190 which is thus default here. */ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Package: evolution Version: 2.32.2-1 Severity: normal Hi, I'm using the new feature of the imap trash, so deleted mails are no longer shown in the local waste bin, but in the imap trash folder. However, when I delete a message for the first time, it appears to be correctly deleted, but when I refresh the inbox, it's there again. When I repeat the procedure and delete the message again, it is correctly moved into the trash folder and disappears from inbox. On imap, mail aren't deleted, they are marked as deleted. Expunge really delete them. yes, but they are removed from inbox and shown in the trash folder after marking them. Bug#509923: linux-2.6: hd's no longer found on marvell 88SE6145 sata controller
Hi Ben, this issue was almost a year ago but I can remember it as it was quiet annoying. It turned out that I had to use module 'ahci' instead of 'pata_marvell', I found the hint in the kernel config. However in the previous kernels (before 2.6.26-12 pata_marvell had worked alright). Unfortunately pata_marvell seems to be preferred over ahci for the mentioned controller, so I had blacklisted the module and built all later kernels without it. No more problems after ... Bug#509318: Please remove dependency to libsane-extras
Package: libsane Version: 1.0.19-23 Severity: normal The dependency libsane-libsane-extras prevents iscan to be installed, since iscan collides with libsane-extras but the latter can't be removed, because libsane depends on it. This, in turn, prevents me from having the newest version of the epkowa backend and thus support for the newest scanners. I also would guess that most people (including me) will first google for their scanner before looking into /usr/share/doc/libsane to read the readme.debian, so it should be possible to install iscan from source, since it's the most obvious solution.
