Bug#885668: gddrescue --fill-mode=+ with a map file of 0x00000000 0x608336000 + has left the partition table intact?
Package: gddrescue Version: 1.21-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? Bug#841945: unattended: When i shutdown, randomly, the system pauses at 'Unattended upgrades' for a long time.
Package: unattended-upgrades Version: 0.83.3.2+deb8u1 Severity: normal File: unattended Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? When i shutdown the box, randomly, the cursor hangs at 'Unattended upgrades and then suddenly it spits out something about USB and mouse and scrolls forward. Hangs for over 30s. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? I tried recording it on a camera but it's random so difficult to capture and the screen is reflective. It sounds an awfull lot like: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=645919 but way more time - 30s https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unattended-upgrades/+bug/434835 * What outcome did you expect instead? I was hoping for a smooth shutdown vs it pausing. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.6 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages unattended-upgrades depends on: ii apt1.0.9.8.3 ii apt-utils 1.0.9.8.3 ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.56 ii init-system-helpers1.22 ii lsb-base 4.1+Debian13+nmu1 ii lsb-release4.1+Debian13+nmu1 ii python33.4.2-2 ii python3-apt0.9.3.12 ii ucf3.0030 ii xz-utils 5.1.1alpha+20120614-2+b3 unattended-upgrades recommends no packages. Bug#822405: lynx: Cookie Saving -cookie_save_file not working
Package: lynx Version: 2.8.9dev1-2+deb8u1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? 1. I ran: lynx -cookie_save_file=/tmp/cookies google.com 2. It prompted me to allow a cookie and I did so. 3. I exited using 'q'. 4. There was no cookie in /tmp/cookies 5. I ran strace -f -o, there was no mention of an 'open' on that file. I also checked Options to make sure i was not ignoring the cookie. It would be nice if you guys could fix this bug quickly - I require lynx -dump and need to feed the website a cookie. The format of the cookie file is not known therefore I need to save a cookie first. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.4 APT prefers stable APT policy: (1000, 'stable'), (900, 'stable'), (750, 'testing'), (500, 'stable-updates') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages lynx depends on: ii lynx-cur 2.8.9dev1-2+deb8u1 lynx recommends no packages. lynx suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
