Bug#721836: mididings-doc: Wrong path for examples

2013-09-04 Thread Vincent Besse
Package: mididings-doc
Version: 0~20120419~ds0-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Example scripts are installed under /usr/share/doc/mididings-doc/examples/
while HTML documentation goes under /usr/share/mididings-doc/. So hyperlinks to
the examples in index.html are broken.

Regards,

Vincent

Bug#713842: lxsession should recommend lxde-common

2013-06-23 Thread Vincent Besse
Package: lxsession
Version: 0.4.6.1-4
Severity: normal

Hello,

out of the box lxsession needs /etc/xdg/lxsession/LXDE/desktop.conf which
belongs to lxde-common package. I think lxsession should at least recommend
lxde-common, not only suggest. So aptitude with default configuration could
install lxde-common too.

Vincent

Bug#670460: (no subject)

2012-04-30 Thread Vincent Besse
Hello,

I've had the same problem on an amd64 sid. After investigations csladspa
seems to be the cause. When installed at least audacity and sweep
segfault, they start when csladspa is removed.

Can you reproduce that?

Is there a need to open a bug report against csladspa?

Regards,
Vincent

It's OK after the downgrade, thank you.

Bug#662153: [eclipse-cdt] CDT not working after upgrading from 8.0.1-1 to 8.0.2-1

2012-03-06 Thread Vincent Besse
Hello,

I have the same upgrade problem. I purged eclipse* packages, removed
~/.eclipse folder, re-installed eclipse-cdt then tried with a new
workspace...no success.

I've attached the .log file, which shows an error.

Vincent

Bug#390563: No vc_new_s_context() in libvserver.*

2006-10-01 Thread Vincent Besse
Package: util-vserver
Version: 0.30.210-10
Severity: normal

Hello,

The /usr/lib/libvserver.{a,so} files does not contain the
vc_new_s_context() call.

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ nm /usr/lib/libvserver.a

lib_libvserver_a-syscall.o:
nm: lib_libvserver_a-syscall.o: no symbols

lib_libvserver_a-checkversion.o:
 U __errno_location
0004 b res.2833
 T utilvserver_checkCompatVersion
 b v_errno.2834
...

I think it's either a configure option or due to one of the patch, as
vc_new_s_context() is present in the Mandriva util-vserver-devel.

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ nm util-vserver-devel-0.30.210-5mdk.i586/libvserver.a

lib_libvserver_a-syscall.o:
 U __errno_location
008e T vc_new_s_context
 T vc_set_ipv4root

lib_libvserver_a-checkversion.o:
 U __errno_location
0004 b res.2820
 T utilvserver_checkCompatVersion
 b v_errno.2821
...

I've tried to recompile from the debian source under two kernels, a
vserver-patched one and a non-patched with the same result.

Bug#390006: Creating a util-vserver-dev package

  Hello,

How about splitting the util-vserver package in two packages,
  util-vserver and util-vserver-dev which contains:
  /usr/include/vserver.h
  /usr/lib/libvserver.a
  /usr/lib/libvserver.so

I have thought about it myself, but there is a big but. Upstream
do not guarantee that it is binary compatible between updates.
That is the reason why I have not done that.

In fact some of it should maybe not be installed at all in the
 Debian system.

Do you create something that actually use these files?

I've begun a pam-vserver module, to automatically log users in an
appropriate vserver, like the pam-chroot module does for chroot. I'll
publish it when it will begin to work.
