Bug#819581: battery-stats: does not detect missing battery, collect-csv fails

2016-03-30 Thread William Altaffer
Package: battery-stats
Version: 0.5.1-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

email every 10 minutes after installing battery-stats , with the following
content:

/usr/share/battery-stats/collect-csv: line 86: cd: BAT*: No such file or
  +directory

Laptop does not have battery installed. If battery is not present, then the
directory:

  /sys/class/power_supply/BAT*

will not be present. Script does not check for that condition.

Note, if the battery is installed, then /sys/class/power_supply/BAT* is
present and no errors (or emails) generated.
