Bug#438196: Sometimes...
I have *sometimes* this problem. I do '/etc/init.d/xdm stop' and the system thinks XDM is not running so it can't stop it (but it's there in tty7 and it works). And sometimes, '/etc/init.d/xdm stop' works but when I go in tty7, I have something like "ÉÇÔZÈKËÄÅ" and I cannot go to the others tty. But I can have logging informations about dropped packets (like in bug #218631) and sys-request keys work and show infos. I don't know if the two problems are linked. My two cents. xdm 1:1.1.5-2 and 1:1.1.6-2

Bug#433181: openssh: Manpages are outdated
> Are you sure this isn't simply that the datestamps on the man pages > haven't been updated? In fact, no, I'm not sure... For example Debian's man page of ssh must be newer than 1999 because it seems there are references to 2006 year in "See also" section. But for sshd man page: Section AUTHENTIFICATION, end of the third paragraph: OpenSSH's web site: >a crypto-graphic message authentication code (hmac-md5, hmac-sha1, >umac-64 or hmac-ripemd160). Debian's man page: >a crypto‐graphic message authentication code (hmac-sha1 or hmac-md5). There are also other small differences.

Package: openssh Version: 1:4.6p1-4 Severity: normal Manpages for ssh, scp, sshd etc. date from September 25, 1999 while there are versions dating from June 12, 2007 on OpenSSH's website. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#432001: Enters quotation marks only at the beginning of paragraph
Package: knode Version: 4:3.5.7-1 Severity: normal Quotation marks work well when I choose "follow up", KNode wraps the text (at column 76 according to my settings) and puts a quotation mark at the beginning of each line. Example: > Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Nulla sollicitudin. Fusce varius, ligula non > tempus aliquam, nunc turpis ullamcorper nibh, in tempus sapien eros vitae > ligula. Pellentesque rhoncus nunc et augue. Integer id felis. reportbug wraps maybe before column 76 so you have words alone but you have it. When I paste a text "as Quotation" or paste a text and then choose "Add Quote Characters", KNode puts marks only at the beginning of the paragraph and I have: >Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Nulla sollicitudin. Fusce varius, ligula non tempus aliquam, nunc turpis ullamcorper nibh, in tempus sapien eros vitae ligula. It's not very Netiquette-friendly, I think. Today I tried to reproduce it with kdepim-dbg installed but no crash anymore, I can delete the messages. [1] *** I tried again and now I get again a crash every time I want to delete a message. [file kmail_when_delete] I have a crash too when I want to move a message from an imap folder to the local folder (I think I could do it even when deleting crashed yesterday). [file kmail_crash_after_move_message] [1] I could but I had a crash a few seconds after [file kmail_some_seconds_after_deletes], leading me to try again. Hope this helps.
