Bug#1071552: gnupg: Please upgrade GnuPG >= 2.4.4, current GnuPG break Emacs's EasyPG
Package: gnupg Version: 2.2.43-6 Severity: critical Dear Maintainer, Current GnuPG package, version 2.2.43, brek Emacs's EasyPG. We are no longer able to store encrypted files completely. As you said, the kanjix.map generated here is a configuration file for dvipdfmx. From previous versions, pxdvi uses this kanjix.map file as the font configuration file. This means that pxdvi will not have a font configuration file. This is the desired behavior that the fonts embedded in the final generated PDF file will be the same as the fonts used for display in pxdvi. If you want to separate the pxdvi and dvipdfmx settings, you need to take the following steps: (1) Set pxdviUse=true in updmap-sys: updmap-sys --setoption pxdviUse=true (2) Set the appropriate font in kanji-config-updmap-sys (3) Modify /etc/texmf/dvips/xdvi/config.xdvi to load xdvi-ptex.map generated by the above command instead of kanjix.map (...BTW. Bug#993597: xdvik-ja: fails to show Japanese characters
Package: xdvik-ja Version: 22.87.05+j1.42-2 Tags: confirmed Thanks to your report. Until Buster, the "kanjix.map" was provided by "texlive-base" package. However, it seems that this file is not provided after bullseye. The generation and management of the "kanjix.map" file is done by "kanji-config-updmap{-sys,-user}" along with setup of other tools, so please try to invoke this command. Hmmm... However, I need a dependency on texlive-lang-japanese to run this command. This will be added. Also, the dependency on e.g., Rumin-Light that you suggested is already configured in /etc/ghostscript/cidfmap.d/90gs-cjk-resource-japan1.conf provided by poppler-data, so I'll add this dependency as well. Best regards. Because other software depends Jekyll may potentially depend Launchy. We provides rubygems-integration, thus, we should provides completely dependecies. Or we create/provide new abstraction layer in order to resolve dependencies and use xdg-open directly. Again, we should provides ruby-launchy package. Now I check current package and upstream repository. It's difficult for me to introduce backward compatibility layer. So I agree revert. But I don't know procedure. How do I revert? with epoch? or create new package like ruby-tilt-1.4? > We have to check reverse dependencies before uploading new upstream > versions! I agree deeply. sorry again. We don't provide auto-mode-alist in 50howm.el, and upstream provide auto-mode-alist in howm-misc.el.
