you are 100% right,

klaumi,
there is nothing we can do - the user has to choose which application
handle the mimetype, if there are more possible applications.

Bug#826311: closed by Alf Gaida <aga...@siduction.org> (Bug#826311: fixed in pcmanfm-qt 0.11.0-4)

2016-06-04 Thread aga...@siduction.org
You are right - 'elementary' was infact the default icon theme, a not so
lucky choice as the elementary icon theme really isn't that wide spread.

So i changed it for the time beeing to oxygen - this will work for the
foremost debian systems. Ok, not for all, but that will come later -
oxygen is recommend so if one choose to install without recommends the
ball is in his field until we fixed the detection of installed icon
themes. I can live with it and it is all i want to do for now. oxygen as
a dependency would be to much imho.

Thanks Alf

Bug#826311: pcmanfm-qt: lacks icons

2016-06-04 Thread aga...@siduction.org
It's not exactly a packaging bug - normally it's up to the $de-session
to provide the components
with a system-wide style and icon theme.
I will add some icon-themes as recommends, that should fix it - beware
of that the
icon theme must set in preferences if not picked up automagically.

> Eg, "strace -efile |& grep icon" shows it's trying to find lots of
icons in /usr/share/icons/hicolor/,
> which apt-file search does not find in Debian.

I will close this bug with the next upload - and leave the hurd unfixed
- if one think that is is important to have qtermwidget available for
the hurd please open a new bug and provide a tested patch, i would be
happy to apply it upstream, but i will not take any further action to
solve this myself.

> The upstream sources are really to difficult to separate qt and gtk2
> version. Both using the same binary with individual parameter.
> I wondered on building audacious-qt package, but will it takes twice
Aggreed, it is impossible for now to build audacious-qt without GTK
dependencies, but it is possible to build GTK without Qt.
If you look at the current audacious package there is no Qt-dependeny -
the Qt-part is in libaudqt0.
So it should be possible to split at least the GTK and Qt-Plugins to
have a GTK only set of packages for GTK DEs.

Bug#752847: qtbase5-dev: former working projects FTBFS with Qt5Gui_EGL_LIBRARY-NOTFOUND

Booth are installed in local system but not in the pbuilder - adding the
dependencies fix the build.
My question now is - should qtbase5-dev depend on these packages or
should my package depend on it?
Imho the former (qtbase5-dev) would be right.
