Bug#314736: gnome-applets: 2.18.0-3 continues to be unusable

2007-04-28 Thread heera
Package: gnome-applets
Version: 2.18.0-3
Followup-For: Bug #314736

The symptoms are a little bit different. Whenever I change the state of
AC power (on or off), then I see a sensible battery status (66% charged
or whatever). A few seconds later, however, it reverts back to "No
battery present." and always shows "System is running on AC power" even
when the AC power is disconnected.

Bug#337208: xsane: batch scan confusing or not working

2005-11-03 Thread heera
Package: xsane
Version: 0.97-4
Severity: normal

I am using an HP LaserJet 3020 with hplip's hpaio driver. This scanner
has an ADF. I can scan multiple pages with:

  scanimage -b --batch-scan=yes

However, I can't figure out how to do the same/similar thing with xsane.
I tried the batch scan window but the 3020 reports "out of memory".
When I press the usual single page button (with ADF selected), it feeds
through the ADF but then the ADF jams on the second page.

Any additional diagnostics I can provide?
