Bug#790048: amanda-server: selfcheck request failed

2015-06-26 Thread joblack
Package: amanda-server
Version: 1:3.3.6-4
Severity: normal

Hi,

amcheck and amdump doesn't work anymore for a few server. It did work a few
days ago.

I get the selfcheck request failed error for several servers. If I use amcheck
with only one server which didn't work on the complete request
(yoda.example.de) it says '1 host checked in 1.089 seconds.'

In the meantime I compiled the new Amanda Server 3.3.7p1 with the same result

It's a severe bug for me because these server won't be backuped anymore.

I'm wondering if there is a bug in the 3.3.6 or higher.

Greetings
Tobias

Bug#557415: udev with 2.6.25.1

2009-11-21 Thread joblack
Package: udev
Version: 147-4
Severity: normal

I'm using a customized 2.6.25.1 kernel and after the apt-get update the udev
didn't work anymore.

As I can't upgrade to 2.6.26+ because of some personal modifications it's the
question why you included the check in /etc/init.d/udev

It seem to work fine after I removed the check for my 2.6.25.1 kernel.

If not needed please keep 2.6.25.x in the support.

Bug#555126: xulrunner-1.9.1: xul_runner has a memory and performance leak

2009-11-08 Thread joblack
Package: xulrunner-1.9.1
Version: 1.9.1.4-1
Severity: normal

xul-runner-stub in combination with iceweasel has some problematic 'features'

At first it often takes 100% of one cpu, secondly it often has a memory leak
so that such 'top'-output is possible (would be even higher if I wouldn't
have stopped it with kill $ID).

7433 joblack 20 0 8554m 4.8g 36m S 21 61.4 256:07.80 xulrunner-stub

Why do I need this buggy program for firefox/iceweasel anyway?

Bug#555256: pinball: usability suggestion for the main menu

It's kind of not logical that you first have to load the table and only then
you can play the game. It would be more usable if you press start and you
haven't loaded a table it shows you the menu of tables.

So beginners can start easily and more fluently the game ...

2009-10-16 Thread joblack

the syslinux.cfg contains:

menu label Default

but ubnkern and ubninit isn't included on the usb stick

(tried to create a bootable windows 7 usb stick from an iso). Same error
occures with actual windows version so it's probably a source code bug ...

I've got 8 GByte of RAM. I'm aware that it could also be a bug in the
installation routine
from ATI/AMD (I reported a bug as well) but perhaps it is in libc6 and not
in the radeon driver ...

Bug#365852: base: languge problems us/german with xserver

2006-05-03 Thread JoBlack
Package: base
Severity: normal
Tags: l10n

I've installed Debian Sarge from a CD, chose English language but German
keyboard layout. That works good with the text consoles (F1-F6) but the
setup/installation program also configures the XF86Config-4 wrong. It chooses

   Option XkbLayout us

to be US layout instead taking my German keyboard layout. Just a little
bit annoying but it should be better taking my chosen keyboard layout
before.

Greetings
tobias
