Bug#861978: xscorch: Segfault on startup

2017-05-06 Thread memeity
Package: xscorch
Version: 0.2.1-1+nmu1+b2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
I installed XScorch and ran it.
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
 ineffective)?
I tried to change the locale by running is with LANG=en_US.
This fixed language issues, but did not fix the segfault.
   * What was the outcome of this action?
XScorch closed on startup with a series of language-related
 errors and a segmenation fault.
   * What outcome did you expect instead?

Bug#861338: gksu: GKSu always says my password is wrong when executed from another application

I installed gdebi, which I believe uses gksu for the password prompt. Whenever
I enter a password, even a correct password, it says the password is incorrect.
Running the program through sudo doesn't have this same problem.

Bug#861337: gnome-maps: GNOME Maps displays nothing

2017-04-27 Thread memeity
Package: gnome-maps
Version: 3.14
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I installed a fresh copy of Debian 8 GNOME and I found that GNOME Maps
displayed absolutely nothing in the main view. The headerbar was visible, but
otherwise I just saw a Mapbox logo and a single point representing my
"location." I tried reinstalling GNOME Maps - this didn't work.
