please refrain from using Debian infrastructure (the Bug Tracking
System in this case) to spread misinformation about Debian. failing to
do so will require me to ask the BTS admin to prevent you from
posting.

you provided a single snippet of a cmake recipe that you claim doesnt
work, unclear even if you wrote that or an upstream author did. that's
not a reason to stop a transition (the addition of python3.10)
involving literally thousands of packages. Ask the author of that
snippet to fix it.

For the benefit of others who encounter the same problem:

To work around this bug, deinstall the Debian package
python3-numpy for good, and reinstall numpy using pip3.

Very disappointing though that this kind of inconsistencies
is allowed into Debian.
