We do not have enought information on the systems to determine if this
is the correct behaviour (it can, if no filesystem mounted allows
discards, e.g. if you only have on /, encrypted, and discards are not
allowed).

Can you please provide more information on the systems, dmesg outputs,
partition layout, filessytems and montpoints.

* there still isn't a text only output (as opposed to an image) of what
  you are seeing in the bugreport. So people that get emails from this
  bugreport tendentially do not know what you are talking about. Again:
  please add a text-only output of what the problem is to the bug report

* Debian's bug tracking system is a bit weird in that by default (as far
  as I know) only the package maintainer gets an email. The ticket now
  being assigned to the kernel, the maintainer of linux-utils did not get
  any notice about what you wrote above. You have to include him
  explicitly (which I've done in this email).
