I just uploaded it (look for version 0.24+dfsg-1 in Debian Sid).

Please give it a try and don't hesitate to report any issue.

Cheers,

Hi Sebastian and Arnaud,

I've been working with upstream [1] to fix several issues in cadaver,

I'm pleased to report that we have a new upstream version, 0.24.

I believe Arnaud has taken over as maintainer but wanted to inform you
both of the new version.

Please let me know if you need any help with package maintenance. In
particular, this new version is a good opportunity to switch to dh
format in d/rules.

Bugs fixed by this upstream release include 605121 [2], 879882 [3] and
949059 [4].

I will look into that and hopefully upload this new version in Debian
this week.

Thanks for the ping and all the details, it's really helpful!

Cheers

Thanks for reaching out. Yes, I'm totally okay. I should have orphaned this a
while ago, so this is much appreciated. Thanks!

Bug#1004421: ITS: cadaver

2022-01-27 Thread Arnaud Rebillout
Source: cadaver
Version: 0.23.3-2.1
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: Sebastian Harl , Debian Security Tools

Dear Maintainer,

Cadaver has been removed from Debian testing lately. It depends on
dpatch, which is being removed from Debian [1]. It also depends on
obsolete version of debhelper that will be removed in Debian bookworm
[2].

I plan to adopt and maintain this package within the pkg-security team.

I already updated all the packaging files and created the Git repository
on Salsa: https://salsa.debian.org/pkg-security-team/cadaver

Thanks

 Arnaud
