Package: pinta Severity: wishlist X-Debbugs-Cc: mctor...@gmail.com Dear Maintainer,
I'm a long-time Debian user and would love to see Pinta available in the repos again. I note that Pinta 2.1 was released last week <https://github.com/PintaProject/Pinta/releases/tag/2.1> and I wonder if this might be the time to reconsider packaging it again. I read the "please package pinta 2.0" thread from several years ago, and it sounded like this is far from trivial. Still, I thought I'd highlight the new upstream release and mention that I'd love to use it if it became available again, for what that's worth. Many thanks, Michael -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.0.0-6-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled
