Bug#1029953: game-data-packager: add support for itch.io as a game store

2023-01-29 Thread Alexandre Detiste
Hi,

I found this from a Reddit thread: https://github.com/Emersont1/itchio

First step would be to ask author to license it some way.

The .toml says "MIT" but I guess it's not enough,
we need the actual boilerplate text.
https://github.com/Emersont1/itchio/blob/main/pyproject.toml

Then you can play around with it, maybe ITP as dependency for GDP.

Bug#1029953: game-data-packager: add support for itch.io as a game store

Severity: wishlist

As mentioned during discussion[1] in #1026277, it'd be nice to add support
for itch.io[2] as an additional online game store in game-data-packager.

(I'll take a look into implementing this soon, although I can't guarantee
that that'll result in a patch / merge request)
