It was, but I forgot to capture this output.

No, but installing the non-free nvidia-driver did. It's a pity, as I don't need 
anything nouveau couldn't theoretically provide.

I've seen some issues on openQA which run on AMD hardware, but I 
personally only have Intel processors, so I cannot reproduce such

Can you confirm that the microcode is active?
sudo journalctl --boot | grep microcode

Could you try uninstalling the package 'amd-microcode'?
sudo apt-get remove amd-microcode
sudo update-initramfs -u

Does that fix your graphical issues?
