Hi Pelle,

this is not supported at the moment. The list of headers for which there
is address completion is hard coded.

Feel free to submit a patch to add "reply-to" to that list. It should be
trivial ;)

This is an upstream issue. Kindly report functionality issues that are
present in upstream's aerc there, and not in the debian package.

Bug#1042578: aerc: No Reply-To completion

2023-07-30 Thread Pelle
Package: aerc
Version: 0.15.2-2
Severity: wishlist

Dear aerc maintainer,

There's no address book completion for the Reply-To field in the header when
composing emails.

To reproduce:
   * Enable address book completion in aerc.conf: `address-book-cmd=abook
--mutt-query %s`
   * Add the Reply-To header to the compose window
   * When entering an email address in the reply-to field, there's no completion

I think it would make sense if address book completion was enabled for the
reply-to header field like it is for other fields for entering email addresses
(From, To, CC, BCC).
