Package: libnvme1 Version: 1.5-1 Severity: important Tags: patch X-Debbugs-Cc: ibragimovri...@mail.ru
Dear Maintainer, Update to libnvme 1.5 introduces a file descriptor leak. One of the operations opens a directory handle, but never closes it. This makes udisksd (part of udisks2 package) to exhaust file descriptor limit in mere minutes. Which makes it fail to mount-unmount encrypted volumes for example. Upstream already fixed the bug: https://github.com/linux-nvme/libnvme/commit/c56910f807795528fff7ba6b81f8efcdb4babe98 but it's not part of any release yet and only lives in the 'master' branch. Please consider including that patch. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers testing-debug APT policy: (500, 'testing-debug'), (500, 'testing'), (50, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.4.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_CPU_OUT_OF_SPEC, TAINT_USER Locale: LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages libnvme1 depends on: ii libc6 2.37-6 ii libjson-c5 0.16-2 ii libkeyutils1 1.6.3-2 ii libssl3 3.0.9-1 libnvme1 recommends no packages.
