Package: thunderbird
Version: 1:117.0~b5-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

==========================================================================================

   * What led up to the situation?
Thunderbird is my default mail client. Inbox has about 1300 mails
in it and occassionally messages appear garbled (ie message headers
not displayed or selected message in list doesn't match preview
pane). Up to now, this was easily corrected by repairing the
     folder.

Today (Sept 12) this is not the case: repairing the folder **very briefly
**
displays the headers correctly and then they disappear.

Note that the mail folders themselves are fine: opening another
email client (I tried evolution, balsa, claws-mail) displays
correctly all the message headers missing from thunderbird.

This is limited to thunderbird display of message headers. When replying
to a message with empty From, To, Subject, thunderbird correctly
fills in the missing fields (list of recipients, subject, etc.)

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?
Repaired the folder several times, upgraded dbus and rebooted, but
     problem persists.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?
In the past this behavior has sometimes happened, only in
thunderbird (but not in other mail clients) and folder repair fixed
     it.
