Package: python3-docutils Version: 0.19+dfsg-7 Severity: normal Dear maintainers,
lintian issues the following warning for the ch-run man page of the charliecloud-runtime package: W: charliecloud-runtime: groff-message an.tmac:<standard input>:676: warning: tbl preprocessor failed, or it or soelim was not run; table(s) likely not rendered (TE macro called with TW register undefined) [usr/share/man/man1/ch-run.1.gz:1] This man page is built using sphinx-build which in turn uses python3-docutils to generate the man page. Therefore I think that the underlying issue is caused by python3-docutils. This issue was already discussed on debian-devel and after applying the patch suggested on [0] the warning disappears when calling LC_ALL=C.UTF-8 MANROFFSEQ='' MANWIDTH=80 man --warnings -E UTF-8 -l -Tutf8 -Z /usr/share/man/man1/ch-run.1.gz >/dev/null But unfortunately new warnings show up: troff:<standard input>:598: warning [p 7, 2.2i, div '3tbd3,0', 0.0i]: cannot adjust line troff:<standard input>:602: warning [p 7, 2.2i, div '3tbd3,2', 0.0i]: cannot adjust line troff:<standard input>:606: warning [p 7, 2.2i, div '3tbd4,0', 0.0i]: cannot adjust line troff:<standard input>:610: warning [p 7, 2.2i, div '3tbd4,2', 0.0i]: cannot adjust line Best regards, Peter [0] https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2023/08/msg00220.html
