Hi,

I would be willing to continue the maintenance of this package,
together with the debian python team. I'm quite familiar with this
component, as I contributed a lot to the upstream project.

Currently I have to maintain this via a sponsor, but once I get
advocated to a DM, I can also maintain it directly.

I do not use kas anymore. Is is a tool for setting up bitbake projects.
Please consider adopting it if you have the time and skills to maintain it.
