It seems like this is a duplicate of #1054570 and #1056295, so I'm merging them and marking them as affecting geeqie and libgdk-pixbuf-2.0-0. >From the upstream issue, it seems that this might not affect all image viewers, depending on their multi-threading model. It does affect geeqie, but eog (another gdk-pixbuf-based viewer) seems to work normally. smcv
