Dear Maintainer, I've been trying to create a photobook with Scribus, but the interface is extremely laggy, so much so that I can't use the software. The easiest way to reproduce the bug on my system has been to: * create a new doc: 32 pages, A4 format, with facing pages and units in millimeters * try to add an image box in the first page on my system (AMD Ryzen 7 7700, 32G ram, Radeon RX 6800, 4k LG monitor) it takes one or two seconds for the tool to follow the movement of the mouse cursor and draw the image box shape. Even the rulers on top and left of the main window lag behind the mouse movement, so it might be an issue with another layer of the graphic stack, but I have noticed the problem only in Scribus (Krita works ok for example).
