Dear Maintainer, *** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? I wanted to use the MED library to compile a Fortran software which relies on it. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? I built my Fortran program which contains a source file which includes "med.hf". * What was the outcome of this action? It failed because "med.hf" requires another file which is missing from the package, "med_parameter.hf". * What outcome did you expect instead? The missing include file, "med_parameter.hf", is available in MED sources and should be included in the Debian package. *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.5 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.15.90.1-microsoft-standard-WSL2 (SMP w/16 CPU threads) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages libmed-dev depends on: pn libmed11 <none> libmed-dev recommends no packages. libmed-dev suggests no packages.
