Do you still see this? I cannot reproduce it with the emacs21 package

I no longer use emacs21. As far as I am concerned, the bug can be closed.

Best regards

Janusz

thanks

Hi,

I'm going through old Emacs bugs in Debian.

On 2003-09-28 06:39 +0200, ipp...@bb.mbn.or.jp wrote:

 Package: emacs21
 Version: 21.3+1-3
 Severity: normal

 When running M-x lookup-pattern-other-frame, Emacs21 crashs soon
after drawing new frame. Starting Emacs21 from command line, the
following messege is left after crash.

 ~$ emacs
X protocol error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) on protocol \n
 request 8

And when starting Emacs21 with -xrm emacs.synchronous: true
option, the result is as follows.

 ~$ emacs -xrm emacs.synchronous: true
X protocol error: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for \n
 operation) on protocol request 1

Do you still see this? I cannot reproduce it with the emacs21 package
in Lenny.

Regards,
Sven
