2009-02-12 Thread Gerfried Fuchs
Hi!

From the way you write you seem to want to work more on similar bugs
and I want to point out to you some mistakes in your patch:

This is a wrong change. blind-carbon-copy isn't something literal so
having it displayed as hyphen is proper here.

Same here, the hyphen for the range isn't something wrong.

Again, non-option so no dash required.

 Likewise.

This is a corner-case: It's an actual email-header so someone who has
"set edit_headers" might think about c&p that to an email.

Hope this helps your understanding of the problem. Escaping of a hyphen
is only there needed where it actually _is_ meant to be a literal dash,
like in commandline and configuration options. Same goes btw. for
quotes, though lintian doesn't check for those because it's almost
impossible to be sure wether a quote is meant to be around an example or
rather being part of the example.

Hope that helps your understanding. :)

Hi,

While i had an overview of the mutt source package, i saw some lintian
errors on mutt.man file.
I made a patch to solve that i saw in the BTS [1].

For my next work, i will focus my attention on lintian errors before
anything.
I downloaded debian directory from git and mutt-1.5.19 from the upstream
web site. Is it the correct method to apply for working on mutt package ?
Is there anywhere to get informations about the package management
(version used to build from sources, freeze of package, and so on...).
