No, the only time I had crashes was before -6 and with WindozeCycling
= YES.

The only reason I mentioned the crashes is because I felt that they
"bullied" me into removing the option and then comes this patch and
just as suddenly I'm required to put the option back in.

Now that I think of it people running stable will not be bitten by
this quite as badly as they will never get the crashing version, so
despite infuriating me perhaps this problem isn't that big an issue.

Sorry, my bad, I was misunderstanding you.

So, just to make sure I get it right: *not* having the option present
in the configuration file and using Alt-Tab crashes Window Maker?

I still can't reproduce it like that with 0.91.0-7. The reason might
be that the problem is being masked by a fix in -7.

I honestly don't remember if this was configurable via WPrefs, but yes,
 that makes sense.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure I follow you. Using this option crashes Window
 Maker?

Bug#289509: wmaker: WindozeCycling = YES very hard to find in debian package (was: WindozeCycling = NO; doesn't work anymore)

2005-01-30 Thread Ulrik Haugen
Hi!

The patch for this bug ought to bring back a configuration option in
WPrefs that I presume were once there (changelog.gz contains:
"Changes since version 0.63.0:
.
.
.
- fixed WindozeCycling config in WPrefs") or "WindozeCycling = NO;"
should be removed from /etc/WindowMaker/WindowMaker so that the only
behavior mentioned in the documentation is available without hunting
through the source package to find that this option has been brought
back from the dead. Especially since the presence of that option was
the one difference between a working and a crashing config file when
I first tried a 0.91-version from testing.
