I solved my problem installing "dcoprss" package (and so also "librss1"
package) and manually copying libkontact_newstickerplugin.la and
libkontact_newstickerplugin.so into /usr/lib/kde3/. So, at the end, for me
was a problem of missing dependencies. Thanks anyway for your email!

Hope this helps,
  Matteo

I have the same problem, altough I would like to note, that it works
occasionally for me. That is sometimes nothing is there, then when I
return to the summary some feeds appear.
It seems that feeds are only displayed after they were fetched. But the
problem is that you don't get any indication about the fetching and if any
error occurred.
Also the configuration is broken too, because when I open the configuration
dialog it shows different feeds than the feeds that are fetched. Eg. I
have configured to have feeds from BBC and it worked. Later I tried to add
CNN and somehow when I returned to the configuration page only CNN was
displayed there, but when the feeds are fetched I only get BBC (which
should not be there according to the config dialog) and I don't get CNN
(which should be there).

Regards
Zsolt

Package: kontact

Severity: normal

On a PC with a fresh Debian testing installation (2005-01-10) I can't see
"News sources" (RSS feeds) anymore in Kontact main page (summary), while on
another PC with an older installation (KDE 3.2 upgraded to 3.3) it works
perfectly.
