2005-02-20 Thread Tilman Koschnick
Package: apt-proxy
Version: 1.9.25
Followup-For: Bug #294626

Hi,

this is not actually a bug in apt-proxy, but due to a change in
python2.3. The change is addressed in python-twisted_1.3.0-7, see
#294553 and #294493 for more information.

Cheers, Til

Bug#294626: apt-proxy: 1.9.25 broken with python2.3 upgrade (missing profile)

2005-02-10 Thread Jon Tyler
Package: apt-proxy
Version: 1.9.25
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Apparently a change to python has caused AP to no longer be able to start.

The python 2.3.5-1 package has removed the profile.py.
I'm not a python programmer so I don't know if this is related or not, but it
seems like a darn good guess.
