Bug#297494: Bug #297494: mount.crypt doesn't seem to work
Hi Hubert and Bastian, I have the same problems as Hubert. Last known version working on my machine is 0.9.20-9 I have the same volume entry as Hubert except another partition name in my /etc/security/pam_mount.conf. If I use the current version, i get the following errors: Mar 5 10:30:51 zappa su[11661]: pam_mount: mount: you must specify the filesystem type Mar 5 10:30:51 zappa su[11661]: pam_mount: mount.crypt: error mounting _dev_hdb6 Mar 5 10:30:51 zappa su[11661]: pam_mount: waiting for mount Mar 5 10:30:51 zappa su[11661]: pam_mount: mount of /dev/hdb6 failed Mar 5 10:30:51 zappa su[11661]: pam_mount: clean system authtok (0) Mar 5 10:30:51 zappa su[11661]: pam_mount: command: /usr/sbin/pmvarrun -u clemens -d -o 1 I suppose those are the same error messages as Hubert must have. I know this is no further improvement in solving the bug. It just occurs that I have the same problem. I have just uploaded 0.9.22-3 which fixes an option error in mount.crypt. This should also fix your error, but before closing this bug again I wait for your feedback if it works ;) Regards, Bastian - -- ,''`. package libpam-mount reopen 297494 thanks * Fix all -o options to not include a space that will not be split off before calling exec(3). (Closes: #297200) - libpam-mount doesn't work after the last update (Closes: #297494) - mount.crypt doesn't seem to work This doesn't seem to have fixed the issue with mount.crypt. I still get the same error with libpam-mount 0.9.22-2. (Yes, I updated my /etc/security/pam_mount.conf to match the distributed file.) -- Hubert Chan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - http://www.uhoreg.ca/ PGP/GnuPG key: 1024D/124B61FA Fingerprint: 96C5 012F 5F74 A5F7 1FF7 5291 AF29 C719 124B 61FA Key available at wwwkeys.pgp.net.
